Tax, Refunds & Disputes

We collect and remit applicable sales tax and VAT, issue refunds under our policy, and absorb all chargeback liability as the merchant of record.

Supplier Licensing

Under our reseller agreements, content partners license PayForge to sell their subscriptions in exchange for a revenue-share licensing fee on each consumer sale.

How PayForge Operates

We Are the Merchant of Record

PayForge Services FZE is licensed by its partner suppliers to sell their digital subscription content, and sells it to consumers as the seller of record. When a consumer subscribes, they are transacting with PayForge — not with the supplier.

Our name on the statement. Consumers see PAYFORGE SERVICES on their card and agree to our terms of sale at checkout.

We own tax compliance. PayForge registers for, collects, and remits applicable sales tax and VAT.

We own refunds & disputes. All refunds and chargebacks are handled and absorbed by PayForge as the merchant.

Suppliers are vendors. Content partners license us to sell and are paid on a revenue-share basis; they are not merchants on our payment accounts.

As the merchant of record, PayForge holds direct merchant accounts in good standing and operates in full compliance with the terms of our payment partners, including Stripe and PayPal.
